An Anniversary for Fallout 4

Fallout 4 is 10 years old!? No that can’t be right…

Bethesda are looking very keen to jump in on the celebration of their favourite post-apocalyptic adventures with everything other than the rumoured Fallout 3 remake, which is a shame, but instead we get this, the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition.

Similar to the Skyrim one, this is a re-release of the original game with all the DLC and a bunch of Creation Club content baked directly into the game, with some original additions of course. Only thing is with this is that Skyrim made sense for a new adventure with CC content as a lot of that additional stuff could be tailored to different playstyles, whereas while Fallout 4 CAN have different builds it is far less flexible when it comes to making a variety of characters. It’s clear this is just a stopgap for something bigger in the franchise, the fact they haven’t announced anything New Vegas related aside from a fancy bundle pack to coincide with the TV show is crazy to me. Anyway, will I play the Anniversary Edition? Maybe, if I can be bothered to do a full new Fallout 4 playthrough…

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
