To round off the games I bought during the Steam Summer Sale comes this gem of a party game called Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. A game that helps to combine a party element with a fun co-op experience.
The premise is fairly simple. One person plays as someone who plays the actual game and they are tasked with disarming a bomb that is placed in front of them. There are many modules with different tasks to take care of before the bomb stops ticking like cutting certain wires or playing a mini game of Simon Says. The other players are those who look at a downloadable manual in order to tell the person playing the game what to do in each scenario. The catch? Neither person are allowed to look at what the other person is.
This game brings to focus the aspect of communication and teamwork, me and my girlfriend had a great time playing it even if we did end up shouting at each other occasionally when the wrong wire was cut! Still it was a great amount of fun, and I’m sure you would all like to try it out too if you have friends or are even at a party with your PC! That’s all for now, and as always.
