So today I wanted to talk about competitive gaming. If you don’t know Competitive Gaming involves a group of players forming together to create a Team that competes in various video game tournaments in order to win prizes and money. Recently the term E-Sports has been used to describe this style of gaming.
What is perhaps more interesting is the fact that a lot of games now are trying to make it as easy as possible for E-Sports to take place within their game. Games like Team Fortress 2 seen above have made various balance and weapon changes in order to make the playing field more fair and pretty much the entire gaming genre of MOBA’s are designed with E-Sports in mind.
I wanted to ask you all, my beautiful audience, what are your thoughts on Competitive Gaming and those that pursue it. Is it an interesting and worthwhile career or are they being payed way too much just for playing video games? Let me know in the comments!
