Playing co-op games is a little difficult for me, having a full time job and other responsibilities means that organising a game online with friends is rather rare these days unfortunately. Luckily me and my girlfriend decided that we would try a co-op game together, it just so happened that with the recent update to Shovel Knight co-op was implemented on the PC, and thus we decided to play it.
It was so much fun. Seeing us work together to get to spots we couldn’t get to normally, fighting bosses together with high tension thrown in, jumping on each other’s heads and if there was a part to difficult for her I could just do it myself and she would catch up. This kind of gameplay encouraged teamwork and I thoroughly enjoyed my time shoveling for justice! Now just to find another co-op game we might like.
