A while ago I made an ode to the healers of MMO’s and multiplayer class based games but now I give my thanks to those who put themselves in front of us straight into the face of danger just so we can be safe, tanks.
Thank you tanks for taking the aggro off those particularly mean bosses that wish to do us harm. Thank you tanks for running headfirst into battle, healing potions in tow and heavy armor equipped ready to take whatever punishment is thrown your way. Thank you tanks for saving our DPS and Support asses when things are going hairy and we can’t take what is being thrown out way. You won’t hear it from all of us a lot but I just want to let you know that your work is most certainly appreciated. Thank you tanks, keep on taking that damage.
