I love it when I see developers team up to make something amazing. Studio Brace Yourself Games, makers of the hugely successful and critically loved Crypt of the Necrodancer have teamed up with another indie studio, Tetragon Works, to create what looks like something out of a dream for me.
Phantom Brigade is set to be a turn-based strategy game in a similar vain to XCOM where you pilot giant Mechs and aim to retake a world destroyed by war. The very concept and the early gameplay that they have shown off has already made me excited for it and I can’t wait to get a try for it myself when it comes out. I wish studios worked together more, this could be a good trend that I hope others will follow.
