So it seems that Respawn, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Titanfall series, is dipping their toes into the Battle Royale scene with a brand new game coming out very soon callee Apex Legends.
The game is set in the Titanfall universe and is set around the same familiar rules of other Battle Royale games but also throws in a bunch of class mechanics and a squad-based teaming system to help win fights. The gameplay certainly looks impressive but it’s very interesting that they decided to chase the trend of the industry instead of coming up with a brand new Titanfall game. Still we don’t know too many details about the game currently however it will be free to play so that might incentivise people to try it out. Let’s just hope it has the same mark of quality that Titanfall 2 did in the genre of first person shooters.

Editors Note: (god I haven’t done one of these in a while) after writing this it turns out that the game was actually released last night as the developers wanted “The game tpo speak for itself” so that’s certainly exciting! No mechs though unfortunately.
