Now that I have completed Elden Ring many are probably wondering why I am not writing a full review on the game as I do with any title that gets recently released. Well the reason is that I have a longstanding trend of not doing full reviews on games that are not recently released on this site and it stands as a matter of relevant information.
Reviews on this site are meant both as purchase info and my own feelings on a particular product, ultimately however it is a scream in the void of a thousand other voices, most of which are far more professional than myself and are paid more. As such their voice carries a lot of weight and I must respect that. Thus I feel that if you want my opinion on how something like Elden Ring holds up, go look at the hundreds of other reviews done at the time, you don’t need my voice clogging up after the fact. While I’ll happily give my opinion on games if I am asked for them, putting them out there is a futile effort and while I will ocassionally do a retro review as more of a deep-dive analysis on an older title I try to keep my review lists relevant and up to date. Or maybe I’m just lazy, who really knows.
