I’ve realised after looking at my computer settings that soon I will need to upgrade my gaming PC to something more appropriate for the modern generation of gaming. With the amount of new games coming out that I’m just barely able to run it seems as though cracking open my tower and looking at what can be made better could be a smart move.
However a big problem recently has been the huge price rises in Graphics Cards. For those that don’t know due to people mining bitcoin and recent surges in the popularity of this practice the prices for powerful cards like the GTX 1080 you see above you have led to shortages and as a result price hikes. However it looks like luckily things seem to be calming down so maybe soon will be a good time to buy into the new equipment. Building and upgrading a PC seems like so much fun, at least as long as you know what you’re doing. Admittedly I will need a few crash courses in getting everything spruced up but things are looking bright!
