A new game collection was just revealed and if you are into the indie gaming scene at all you may want to pay attention. Created in a massive collab with various indie artists including the creator of Spelunky is this interesting new title called UFO 50. This collection will hold 50 (yes that is a massive number of games) which are all created in different genres with different playstyles and several done by different developers. The idea behind it is to emulate the “Many-Games-In-One-Cart” experience that you bought at old car boot sales from shady market stalls.
The games will all have an 8-bit art style too, with some of these games bringing entirely new gameplay genres into this type of graphical style including tower defence games and much more. It is aiming to be released next year at some point and I will most certainly be keeping an eye out on it to see if any of the games released are good. With the talent on offer here I have a good feeling.
