So apparently Destiny is getting a sequel… ok. To be honest I never played the original game due to not owning a system capable of playing it and also a general lack of interest from what it seemed to represent. I’ve constantly seen the game being talked about in gaming news as new versions, DLCs, versions and even completely brand new games that are titled as basically the ‘fixed’ version kept coming out.
Now this, a sequel to a game that not that long ago was completely re-released in order to be a better game, with content still being added to it! It feels a bit like a slap in the face to the loyal Destiny players, especially when considering Activision originally stated that Destiny would be a game that could be played for over 10 years. Of course this was most likely just marketing nonsense however the fact that they are already willing to jump ship to a sequel is concerning.
