The official Japanese twitter account for the game series ‘Secret of Mana’ recently showed off some early gameplay of the sequel to that very game, Seiken Densetsu 3, being played on the Nintendo Switch. This of course points to the idea that the game may very well be released for the system with a full english translation.
This is huge news as the game itself has never had a full release in the West much to the dismay of fans. I know of many people who absolutely adored the original Secret of Mana, with some even calling it the best RPG ever made. I personally have never played it however with this news it could mean that many people are introduced to a fantastic game that they may have never heard of before. It also shows that Japanese companies are possibly considering doing english ports of their games. Mother 3 anyone…?
