So recently Activision confirmed that they had bought out the mobile developer King Games, most well known for Candy Crush Saga, for over 5.9 Billion Dollars… oh dear…
Seriously is this not the scariest type of consumption of a company ever seen? Activision themselves are not known for their good business ethics, especially as their Call of Duty series has seen huge backlash from the general gamer public. Now that they own quite possibly the biggest mobile gaming company in the world what is next for them? Taking the mobile market by storm? Making Call of Duty mobile only? Who really know, all that can be said is that the gamers are going to have to keep an eye on this, see just how much greed can take over when both of these giants work together.
