I have recently obtained and am playing through a new game for High Rez Gaming called 8-Bit Invaders, a retro style RTS that takes elements from various old Strategy titles and creates a genuinely fun experience from what I have played so far.
Currently however the developers are being very generous with the game’s launch on Steam. Not only are they giving a price drop from the normal retail value but also they are giving a limited time offer that I haven’t seen implimented before. If you can complete each co-op mission in this game with at least 1 star you get a code for the previous game in the series, 8-Bit Hordes.
This deal only lasts till January but I really like how it was implimented. It emphasises the community working together and also gives early buyers the chance of getting extra content for the game which in my opinion is very worthwhile, especially for the multiplayer.
