So after having a very insightful and interesting chat with a well known member of the scottish gaming press I had to have a little rethink of how I am approaching my career. Right now I wanted so badly to go into professional gaming journalism however after having this talk I have realised that I simply am not in the correct state to be getting into it (if a break doesn’t come along that is, if it does then hell yeah I’ll take it!) and so I’ve had to rethink how I’m going to look at my future jobs.
Of course this doesn’t affect any of you at all, you will still get your regular content here! It’s just been a bit of an eye opener today and I wanted to share it with you all. If you read my stuff regularly that makes me feel like I am making some kind of impact in your life, no matter how small it is. To me, that’s the most important part of why I even write on this site, not for fame or fortune but to entertain and inform you all. To know that I am doing that and maybe even making your lives just a tiny bit better, that’s all I care about.
