So a new trailer for Halo 5: Guardians was just released and with the release date looming ever closer many people are getting ready to play with the Master Chief once more. Strangely enough however I know almost nothing about this new Halo, I have had almost no interest in it.
This is probably just because I don’t have an Xbox One and thus will never actually get to play it but also this game just feels… off. Nothing about it has really intrigued me and that is a huge shame because the Halo series is one of my favourite game series (Halo 3 is in fact my favourite game of all time). Something is just not clicking, maybe it’s the esport type nature of the new multiplayer or the lack of focus on master chief this time, who really knows. All is for certain is that I won’t be getting this and if I did get an Xbox One I would probably just get the Master Chief Collection instead so I could play Halo 3… I’m old fashioned I know.
