This was the other bit of Overwatch news, the reveal of a brand new map, Junkertown! The map is set in the ruins of australia after a nuclear apocalypse and is home to the lovely junkers Junkrat and Roadhog.
The map itself looks to be very vertical and with a mix of interior and exterior areas allowing for a dip and dive type of playstyle which should certainly spice things up. Alongside the reveal of the new map we got a type of mini-short featuring the two loveable oafs. I actually enjoyed that animated short more than the proper one that was released a few days later, maybe I jsut enjoy those characters more or perhaps it was just more entertaining.
In any case the map hasn’t appeared on any test server yet so we still have some time until we get to wander around australia, I for one can’t wait for the opportunity! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
