So Blizzard recently announced the rewards for people who order tickets to Blizzcon online, various skins for each of their games including Diablo and (most interestingly to me) a new Bastion skin for Overwatch. This reminded me of the topic of Exclusive game content, pieces of games that you could only access by going to certain events or being given special privileges.
It reminds me a lot of the old Pokemon Nintendo events. You had to physically go to a specific location and get a code that would give you an item for a new and rare Pokemon. It was an interesting idea however for people like me who couldn’t ever attend any of these event sit just made me feel left out and I felt as though I was missing an integral part of the game. Needless to say I’m not a fan of these exclusive content events, however you might think differently! If you do feel free to tell me why you enjoy this idea and share it with everyone!
