Many people love the “SoulsBourne” series of RPG’s that feature incredibly difficult gameplay and boss battles, but a lot of the fanbase don’t know that the game never actually started with Dark Souls.
Demon’s Souls was the first game in this series, with the same gameplay, art direction and story, and was released on the PS3 almost eight years ago. Sadly however recently Sony announced that the game’s multiplayer functionality was finally being cut. This means no more messages from other players, no more being invaded, things like that. It’s a shame that it has to go however it is an old game and the full extent of the single player content will still be available, just without online content.
So if you own the game and a working PS3 go ahead and play the original game for the last few months that it will still have online features, and be ready to mourn when it’s no more. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
