I thought I might pose an interesting question to those who read my content regularly. As you will all probably know I love the Elder Scrolls and of course Skyrim is one of my most favourite games of all time. If you haven’t played the game one of the main plot conflicts involves the clash between two huge factions, the Stormcloaks and the Empire.
The Empire are the main conglomeration faction of the Elder Scrolls series, basing themselves on the real life Roman Empire. At this point in the timeline they suffered great losses and even their emperor doesn’t match up to those of the past. So at this point the Empire are considered weakened and not worthy of being called an Empire, hence the Stormcloaks. These dudes are a group of rebels from Skyrim who want the region to break away from the Empire and become an independent nation, allowing them to break away from elven rule and giving them the opportunity to worship their own gods once more.
That’s an extremely simplified version of events however I told them because I wanted to ask those who have played Skyrim which faction did you side with?
