Rarely do I talk about Season Passes for games as I find them pointless and after regretting my purchase of Fallout 4’s season pass I don’t think I will find myself purchasing another one, but this sounds so intriguing that I may take a look at it.
Far Cry 5 is coming out in March and I will most likely get it as it seems like a really good game to me. What is most interesting to me however is that they have aleready revealed the season pass and all the planned DLC for the game, and it’s insane. One piece of DLC will have you travelling in time to vietnam to fight during the war America waged in the jungles, another will have you fighting against zombie hordes in a B-Movie style presentation and the last piece will have you fighting alien spiders on Mars! Truly this range of insanity sounds perfect for Far Cry as they have a good track record of silly DLC and expansions (see Blood Dragon for Far Cry 3 to see what I’m talking about).
Alongside this if you purchase the season pass they will also give you Far Cry 3 which is certainly an interesting choice as getting a whole extra game sounds like a good deal to me. Whether I will purchase this or not I’m not sure but this has surely tempted me! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
