In my continuing need to seemingly play a game in which the business practices behind it are some of the most toxic in the gaming community I decided to buy the Imperial Upgrade for the Elder Scrolls Online. Now, I normally wouldn’t do it as for the price you get this at it’s entirely not worth it. Getting a few bits and bobs while also getting the ability to play as a race that should have been playable in the base game is not at all worth the asking price that the game has.
And yet I still bought it. My reasoning was that for the specific character I was making I needed the race that this upgrade gave me so I needed to purchase this to make it worth it. I suppose another factor was that I also recently got my monthly paycheck so I felt that a bit of extra spending wouldn’t hurt too much. Still I wouldn’t recommend doing what I did but perhaps you all have felt the same way I have, buying something you felt was a rip-off buy still buying it anyway?
