The Overwatch Anniversary event is finally here and oh boy does it provide some nice incentives. There’s no actual event to go along with this sadly, so no new game mode or PvE instance however what we do get is 3 new arena style maps, a bunch of new really cool looking skins and every hero getting a dance emote, dance party on the objective!
It is a bit sad to see that the anniversary event, celebrating everything Overwatch and all that it has accomplished, has just essentially felt like a regular update with new skins. Still I guess I can’t really complain as I love almost all the new looks for each hero and I’m really excited to see what the next event in store is, though I suspect it will just be a repeat of what happened last year. Maybe some hint for Doomfist… possibly… please…
