I finally got my copy of Breath of the Wild for the Wii U (yes the inferior version I know) and I’ve been having a blast playing it over the last weekend! There’s a fun story behind my issues getting ahold of it, but I’ll save that for tomorrow. Instead I’ll just tell you that it really is as good as it was advertised.
It feels a lot like a mix between several games over the past years than have blended together into an extremely good game that takes it’s pride on making you feel as though you are part of a real living world. Portal, Shadow of the Colossus, Skyrim, all of these games seem to be inspirations and I love it. Don’t worry you will get a review, I hope to have one done for this Friday but it depends on how much of the game I get done so be patient and keep an eye out!
