So according to a very wild rumor (and just remember, this is a rumor!) a retailer has provided a price-lock guarantee on the new Nintendo Switch giving it a baseline price way before any other retailer.
The retailer from the UK called ‘Gameseek’ has given a locked price of £198.50 for the new console which seems like an absolutely amazing price for a brand new next gen console if it turns out to be true. However due to this being a hybrid console the pricing will have to also be competitive with the mobile market and as a result for a mobile device this seems a bit steep.
However of course the fact remains that this is also a home console and can function perfectly as one. As a result if this price is true this thing will sell like crazy. Of course due to it being a price lock the retail value could end up going up or even down depending on what the average is, so taking this right now is a huge leap of faith.
