My time with the 4TG Game-Con went very well, I discovered this as when me and my partner eventually left the event and we couldn’t believe that five and a half hours had passed, we were stunned!
I think I actually preferred this to a lot of other events (though that might also be due to the fact that I could casually play games rather than be stuck in cosplay) however this was mainly due to the fact that unlike many other cons there was a lot to do here. There were many different retro consoles to play, interesting panels (especially the developer panel, learned lots from that) and even watchable e-sport tournaments (though I do wish they invested in better screens as the projector they used was pretty bad).
I enjoyed my time a lot more than I anticipated at the event and I surely will be back next year to try it out again, even if it is just for the VR experiences! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
