If you grew up during the mid 2000’s you probably remember Bionicle, the spin-off series from Lego that focused on ancient robots wearing magical masks fighting and was totally the coolest thing ever. It seems as though other people seemed to agree with me as a brand new Bionicle fan-game was recently announced known as Bionicle: Quest for Mata Nui.
The game is in early development and just being made by a single guy who is now looking for a development team to help him create his dream game. It’s set as an open world RPG on the original series island and will have you playing as one of the famous Toa warriors in order to collect masks in order to defeat an ancient evil on the island. The game has been in development for 6 years and it’s crazy just how good and authentic it looks for being an unofficial fan-game and I hope it ends up being worked on and completed fully as I would love to revisit this part of my childhood.
