The Philza Legacy

The dreaded moment

It’s sad to see big projects finally end (which is a funny coincidence considering Avengers: Endgame just came out) but in the Minecraft space one of the biggest and longest running projects just finally came to a close.

Streamer ‘Philza’ has been playing on the same Minecraft perma-death survival world for over five years and just recently he messed up and died, losing all the progress and having to delete the world he had spent all these years cultivating. The death was due to a mistake he made when jumping into a cave against a baby zombie which he accidently set on fire. He also forgot to use a death-prevention item and even forgot to re-equip his chest armor when he jumped in which unfortunately led to his death. Tears were shed and memories were shared but in the end the world was deleted. In a way it’s almost beautiful to see all the happy memories and events this streamer shared with his viewers. So here’s to you Philza, let’s hope your next project doesn’t end quite so terribly.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
