Well this was certainly unexpected. For a few days now we were teased about the original Halo: Combat Evolved with videos being shown off concerning a celebration of the first Halo game coming from 343 Industries. Now we expected that this meant the PC port of the title contained within the Master Chief collection was coming soon but it seems as though the surprise was much quicker than expected as the game is now already out on PC for all to play, that’s nice to see.
The game quietly dropped a few days ago and as a result many people were caught off guard by the sudden release of the game. Hopefully this means that the PC port of Halo 2 will be swiftly coming next, followed of course by the third entry in the series which I believe is the most highly anticipated. It seems as though perhaps the collection is on it’s way to be completed by the end of the year and I personally cannot wait for that to be the case.
