Well this is certainly a nice surprise. Valve in anticipation for the release of Half Life: Alyx in March have decided to allow anyone who owns steam to play every single Half Life game released thus far for free until the release of the VR title, how generous!
The games are all playable if you go onto Valve’s announcement of this offer and click any of the links in order to try them out. These of course include the original Half Life, plus it’s expansion packs and also Half Life 2 alongside the additional two episodes. They state this is to ensure that people can get caught up with the sotry before hopping into the VR prequel which makes a lot of sense but I’m just surprised they are letting people do this, I guess Valve just know how to build hype.
Luckily for me I have already played all of the games so I am up to date and ready for March, god I can’t wait! That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
