Spelling Our Doom

Dissapointment in image form

A big hit has come to Bethesda’s publishing arm as ID Software have announced that the highly anticipated DOOM Eternal will be delayed until March 20 of next year rather than it being released this year.

Many will find this news very dissapointing as the game was close to the release date with just a couple months left however the studio state that they want to tweak a few things to make the game as good as it can be and in addition they have announced that those who pre-order the game will also get a free copy of the redone DOOM 64 that was slated to come out soon too.

So this all sucks for fans however in the end I would rather a product was delayed and ended up better rather than being rushed and ended up as a bad experience. It is strange that they announced this so close to release however I’m sure that’s a question for the management team rather than development.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
