Shopping Cart

It looks more like a launcher than a store

It seems as though the Epic Store really can’t catch a break lately. Recently Epic decided to host a big sale on their digital storefront which has actually been a big point of controversy due to the way in which they handled the discounts from each developer. However that is more of a problem regarding contracts and company communication but don’t worry Epic has also managed to anger their customers too.

You see the store is missing a lot of crucial features that Steam currently use and in fact a lot of different storefronts use, the most important of which being a shopping cart. This hasn’t been such a big deal until a sale came along and a lot of people wanted to buy several games due to good deals. However on the Epic Games Store this has to be done one at a time due to the lack of a shopping cart and even worse some users are being banned and their accounts are being automatically flagged due to the fact that they are buying several games in quick succession which caused Epic’s fraud detection systems to activately and wrongly ban the accounts that are actually buying many games on the store.

This is all a big disaster and I am curious to see what will happen next on Epic’s store that will anger people. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
