A brand new update has just hit Warframe, perfect timing as with me in isolation now I have a lot of games to play and a lot of free time just opened up!
Scarlet Spear (the name of the update) is an event that is scheduled to last 4 weeks and features the first instance of the squad link feature shown off in a previous Tennocon in which two teams of players work together in seperate missions to complete a single objective. The mission in question this time is the start of The New War, the big story event in which the Tenno must defend the system from the invading sentient threat. The implications from the story told here are very interesting so I for one am very interested for when the main new quest is revealed to us.
As for these missions I feel as though they are a bit too grindy and according to some are incredibly buggy but once this stuff is ironed out and resource requirements are toned down I’m sure it will be a nice game mode to try out for the time that we are stuck inside. Until then, I guess that’s another thing for me to do!
