It seems Edmund McMillen is giving us an end of the year treat with the final expansion to The Binding of Isaac, this time titled “Repentance”. The expansion has been quoted as being sequel-sized and will feature a host of new bosses, items, enemies and even a brand new main quest for you to take part in. With a host of visual upgrades and of course a bunch of new rooms to explore too the game certainly sounds like a sequel to me!
The expansion is apparently based on the very popular ‘Antibirth’ mod which Edmund has actually taken the mod team from and worked directly with them on this expansion, talk about getting your resume out there and getting the work you deserve! The release date will apparently be at the very end of December this year so it will certainly be going out with a bang. If you’re a fan of the game then get yourself sorted and prepared for then, this is going to be a big one.
