Red Alert!

Ahh, look at those lovely sprites

It seems as though remasters and re-imaginings of old games are now becoming the new hot trend which is something I am quite alright with. Just like how Blizzard took a stab at remastering the classic Starcraft it seems as though EA is following suit with a remastered collection of the original Command and Conquer game alongside the prequel, Red Alert.

The games will be released in the “Command and Conquer Remastered Collection” and is set to come out on June 5th. The game will of course feature updated graphics, a redesigned UI, a remastered original soundtrack, 4K support and even a built in map editor. The game has apparently been created in collaboration with the C&C community with various members contributing ideas and designs which have gone into the final product. It’s nice to see a game like this get the love it has missed over the years, especially since EA’s big idea was to turn it into a mobile game. Let’s hope they don’t mess it up like Blizzard did.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
