Valve has made some questionable decisions lately when it comes to their video game lineup but with their focus shifting more towards the hardware side of things this next venture may end up being a good thing for the company.
Their newest piece of tech is called the Index, a VR headset which according to rumours is said to be almost on par with the Vive Pro and is also said to come with three exclusive games made by Valve just for this headset, one of which is rumoured to be a Half Life game. The Index hasn’t had any more information revealed about it but Valve has commented that there will be more information regarding it in the near future. I will be interested to see how this delve into the VR world will go down with their main competitor of HTC with their Vive headsets but I am optimistic. Let’s just hope they don’t abandon this project.
