It seems as though Oculus are attempting to take back control of the VR market with their latest released product, the Oculus Go. This headset is unique among the others due to the fact that you don’t need any other device in order to make it work. That means no super powerful PC, no expensive smartphone, just $199 and the knowledge that this is designed as a budget device.
Reviews are scarce on the product thus far so it remains to be seen if this will be an adequate choice for people wanting to try out VR on a budget. The one thing that it seems to have going for it however is the fact that it is somehow completely wireless.
