You know what game genre has been severely underrepresentated in the modern gaming spectrum? Space dogfighting simulators. I remember playing the old Star Wars: Rogue Squadron back in the day and having a blast so the newest announcement from EA has me rather excited.
Star Wars: Squadrons is, you guessed it, a space dogfighting game set in the Star Wars universe and with much hype surrounding the return to this beloved style of game you can imagine that many people have high hopes for the title. EA have stated that it has a full single player campaign as well as 5v5 multiplayer alongside the ability to customise your ship by playing and earning cosmetics through normal gameplay rather than microtransactions, interesting.
This is EA after all so there is still plenty reason to be skeptical however it all seems good thus far. EA will reveal more details about the game including some actual gameplay in a few days so be sure to keep an eye out and see if EA mess this up somehow. That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
