Classical Scrolls

So blocky, and yet beautiful

With many people excited for the future of the Elder Scrolls series after Bethesda confirmed another entry is being developed there have also been developments in some of the older titles.

Gavin Clayton, an ambitous modder and expert of the Unity engine, has been working tirelessly since 2014 to remaster the entirety of the second Elder Scrolls game, Daggerfall, in Unity in order to make it more accessible to people who are completely lost when it comes to DOS, which generally includes myself.

The new version of the game will of course technically be a mod but will include loads of things for the game such as higher resolution textures, better load times, mouse support and of course plenty of bug fixes. He states that an Alpha should be available fairly soon and that he shall be working on the project polishing it and fixing bugs he comes across for the near future so this is most certainly something to keep an eye out for if you are a fan of this classic.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
