Hey Fallout 76 is in the news headlines again and this time it isn’t for the worst of reasons, a shocker I know. A new trailer showing off the next batch of Fallout 76 content was just released showing off the ‘Steel Dawn’ update which will bring the most recognisable faction in the franchise, the Brotherhood of Steel, into the main game as an NPC presence.
Now the brotherhood were actually in the game beforehand but as with most other factions they didn’t have any human representation and were just essentially alluded to have previously been in the area but now are returning with their big guns and even bigger suits of Power Armor. However (because of course nothing concerning Fallout 76 can be just good news) one big stickler for many Fallout fans is that the time period that this game takes place in technically doesn’t make sense when concerning the Brotherhood expanding as they were still isolationists at this point in the Fallout timeline.
Regardless I’ll be interested to see how they explain this one (if they even directly acknowledge this) and see just how the actual update behaves with the rest of the game as if there is something we should all be aware about when it comes to Fallout 76, only make judgements when you get to play the update yourself.
