Interesting rumours have started swirling around the gaming spectrum as Activision’s co-president, Nick van Dyk, has some interesting projects showing on his LinkedIn profile which may show some of the company’s biggest games getting their very own TV/Netflix adaptations.
On his profile it mentions that he is the Executive Producer on an ‘Anime Style’ Netflix series based in the Diablo universe and alongside this it also mentions that he sold and developed an animated series based in the Overwatch world too. Both of these projects have not been officially confirmed by the company yet but you can be certain that these projects will have a lot of hype surrounding them if they turn out to be true. Many people have wanted a TV series based around the animated shorts of Overwatch so this very well may be the fans getting what they have wanted.
