After starting my replays through Fallout 4 in anticipation for 76 I realised that I don’t really like to play games in a very specific way, optimised.
Now to many that might sound familiar, of course you want to play in a way that will make you as powerful as possible, that’s how you beat the game easiest! For some that’s absolutely fine, beating the game with as little challenge as possible or having the biggest power trip is of course down to your own personal preferences. Investing in certain skills to make your weapons the most powerful, using the best equipment, things like this allow you to play the game in an optimised way. I prefer however to play the game in a way that allows me to roleplay more effectively, though I will freely admit that I like to optimise my playthroughs in certain ways.
What I was most interested however is what you all thought about this. Do you make sure each playthrough of a game is as efficient as possible or are you more focused on the silliness and variety of the game? Let us all know your feelings in the comments!
