Fluctuation

Which one will it be!?

As I sit staring at the Steam Summer Sale deals fly by I always wonder if maybe the games that I really want will eventually change in price. I don’t know if it’s my bad memory or not but I seem to remember a time in previous sales where the game price cuts changed over time. Sometimes they got better, sometimes they got worse but ultimately they fluctuated. As a result I’ve been waiting for it to do the same this time but I’m not too sure if that will actually happen.

What I’m interested in however (and hence why I’m writing about this) is what kind of pricing mechanism during an online game sale do you prefer? Do you like having a single price cut that doesn’t change at all even if it isn’t the best price or do you like having the price change over time to make it a type of random and luck based system in which you could potentially end up with an even better deal or a worse one? I’m intrigued to see what the viewers of this humble site are like when it comes to their views on sales.

That’s all for now, and as always. It’s not just a game, It’s a Life.
