Perhaps one of the biggest trends in gaming as of recent Battle Royales make up a huge portion of the casual gaming market and with so many other games throwing their hats into the ring just to compete with the landslide success that Fortnite had it’s not so crazy to see why companies are doing everything they can to catch onto this craze.
Personally for me however I just don’t see the appeal. Sure the idea of a huge open world brawl with hundreds of players sounds fun to me however I think that in my video games I like to feel empowered and in control. Due to the very nature of these games I will most likely never win a game without some kind of fluke and thus the idea never really struck chords with me. Plus I’m way too late to the party this time and will most likely end up just another kill in someone’s killstreak for that round.
